Meet Lenore

Lenore Jackson is a respected leader and public servant committed to her community and country. As Sumter County's Favorite Adopted Daughter. 

Lenore has dedicated 30 years of her career to federal service, spending 22 of those years in active duty with the United States Air Force and the remaining eight years working for the federal government. 

Throughout her military service, she held several leadership positions, acquiring valuable expertise in strategic planning, team building, and effective decision-making.rence in the lives of those around her.

Lenore's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Public Administration. She is also an active community leader, serving on the County Library Board and as Secretary of the Sumter County South Carolina Democratic Party. In addition, Lenore is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., League of Women Voters, NAACP, Morris College National Alumni Association, National Association of Black Military Women, and Women's Veterans Interactive.

Lenore is a two-time breast cancer survivor who believes in the power of a positive mindset. Her mantra, "YOU WIN IT IN YOUR MIND FIRST!" reflects her determination and resilience in adversity.

As Founder and CEO of Combined Influence, LLC, Lenore advocates for equitable policies and laws that protect the essential humanity of all. Her consulting and advocacy group is dedicated to supporting and promoting initiatives that positively impact society.

Lenore's commitment to service, leadership, and advocacy makes her an exceptional candidate for public office. She is dedicated to building a stronger, more prosperous, and more equitable South Carolina for all.

Her greatest duty assignment to date has been to her amazing blended family.  She is married to a proud veteran; US Air Force Master Sergeant (Retired) Jerry Jackson.  Together they share four adult children; Anika, Dija, Kai, and Isaiah.  The very pride and joy of their lives is their only grandchild, Aiden.
